The Patreon feature allows you to trigger events for when you receive a new Patreon subscriber. After a Patreon account is linked, you are able to assign a specific Patreon level to be equivalent to a subscriber. This means that any Patreon user who is at that Patreon level or higher will be treated no differently than a subscriber when it comes to things such as Role Requirements (EX: A command where you are required to be a Subscriber to run it).
This service works with the Patreon Subscribed Event Command and additional special identifiers that can be used can be found on the Donations Special Identifiers page.
Only new Patreon subs or upgrades will be alerted to us, we do not get notified via Patreon for monthly re-subscriptions. Patreon subscriptions don't have a time length associated with them. They're subscribers as far as roles are concerned, but they won't meet qualifications for titles, because they don't have a number of months set for them like a regular subscribers has. Patreon does support linking a Twitch account currently, however the user has to have their Twitch account set on their Patreon profile. If their Twitch information is not set on their profile or you are using a different streaming platform other than Twitch, we will attempt a best effort based on the name of the Patreon user at the time they subscribe on Patreon and we detect them, but you may be required to manually link that user's Patreon account to their user data in Mix It Up if their name on Patreon does not match their username or their subscription on Patreon occurred while we were not running. This can be done by editing the user on the User's page, then selecting the associated Patreon account from the list at the bottom.
